Eternity: A message to my nation

"Fourteen months ago God gave me a vision of writing a book in Japanese to share my testimony of the how I came to know God and the reality that there is an Eternity. It took me four months to write the book and it was published in Tokyo last year in July. At first not much seemed to happen with the book but bit by bit God led and Japanese people's lives were touched by the book in both Perth and Japan. Soon after the book was published some of my Australian friends asked if I would translate the book to English. So in August last year I began translating the book in to English with help from James...

 ...The main reason for translating the book to English was to encourage Australian Christians to share their faiths with Japanese people, because it was through Australian Christians that I received Christ. However God had bigger plans and He is using the English version book to touch many people's lives in ways that I had never dreamt." - Ritsuko Clarke

God has been using the book in the following ways:-

1. As an evangelistic book, as people read it they can see Ritsuko's spiritual journey to Christ and the reasons she came to know Him.
2. To encourage those facing trails and/or grief.
3. To encourage those who are living in an environment hostile to Christianity.
4. To give people a better understanding of what people who come to Christ from other cultures/backgrounds face.
5. Learning how to forgive other even when the hurt is deep.
6. Learning to see God's hand at work in our lives.
7. Learning to trust God when the situation is beyond our capability.
