A photo of Ritsuko in a Kimono

Graceful Ritsuko: After I got dressed up in the Kimono our Ritsuko's brother's mother-in-law found a very nice Kimono for Ritsuko to wear. I thought that she looked very graceful wearing it. The Kimono is worth about $10,000 (Australian) and the Obi (the slash) is made from gold thread and it is worth about $10,000 as well. This is a real silk Kimono, it requires a high specialised person (mostly they are found in Kyoto) to be able to clean them, so you are very unlikely find real silk Kimono in Australia, because Japanese people won't bring them here since they would have to send them back to Japan for cleaning. What you might see Japanese people wearing here are cotton Kimonos.1

Ritsuko left her Billabong Jacket at the paper museum, but unlike what would probably happen in Australia where you probably would not see something like that again if you left it somewhere, when we phoned the museum they had found it. Not only that they couriered it back to us the next day! Customer service again!
