Back along the Kumagawa: After arriving at Hakata station we stopped for lunch, I found that everything was cheaper there compared to what we had been paying in Honshu. I made this little poem about Kyushu at the time, anybody who has been to Kyushu would agree with this:-
Kyushu,
where air is cleaner,
the grass is greener,
the blocks are bigger,
the prices are cheaper,
the rice is tastier,
the people are friendlier,
and the girls are prettier.
We went back on to the Tsubame and then finally the Sea Side Liner. I took the above photo on the Sea Side Liner showing some more scenery along the Kumagawa.
We arrived back in Kobayashi in the late afternoon and that was the first time I said "Tadaima!" (I'm home!)1 and I have been saying it every time I arrive home since!
