St. Francis Xavier Church: Across the road for the memorial there is the new St Francis Xavier Church (built after World War Two)1 which can be seen in the above photo. The grounds of the church are very large. While we were having a look around we meet a Filipino priest who ministers to a small Filipino community in Kagoshima.
